Fire Risk Assessments

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires most premises such as workplaces and the common parts of residential buildings to have a fire risk assessment.

The legislation requires that the responsible person ensures that this fire risk assessment (FRA) is carried out and recorded if more than four staff are employed or the premises have a license of some kind.

Accensus Fire Consulting specialise in carrying out fire risk assessments on behalf of the responsible person.  Our fire risk assessments are:

  • detailed, yet concise and easy to understand

  • contain pertinent photos to ensure the findings are apparent

  • provide clear significant findings and action plans

  • commercially minded to provide practicable cost effective solutions to potential issues

  • carried out by experienced, qualified assessors who are members of the IFE

In his role as an Inspecting Officer with the London Fire Brigade George Willis evaluated hundreds of fire risk assessments whilst enforcing the fire safety order. He has sound knowledge of the legislation, the associated guidance and the workings of enforcing authorities.

Prior to his time in the London Fire Brigade, George spent time working in both small independent companies and also large financial institutions in the City of London. This has given him the commercial awareness necessary to ensure that he is focused on providing cost effective solutions to fire safety problems.

Accensus Fire Consulting can help your company achieve not just a safer workplace, but a more compliant one at the best possible cost.
